RACE 2 – ASSOCIATION FANS

ASSOCIATION FANS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. ASSOCIATION FANS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, ASSOCIATION FANS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 3 – WINGOLD

WINGOLD, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. WINGOLD was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A Lee this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, WINGOLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 6 – GREEN DISPATCH

GREEN DISPATCH, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GREEN DISPATCH was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C S Shum this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, GREEN DISPATCH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination and, as previously advised, the horse will also be required to undergo a series of satisfactory consecutive barrier trials amongst other runners.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
