Race 7 – SURE PEACE

SURE PEACE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  SURE PEACE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg and to have a stiff and restricted action in both hind legs.  Before being allowed to race again, SURE PEACE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
