The season finale is only three meetings away! Opportunities to enjoy thrilling sporting action and on-course attractions during the 2016/17 season are running out, so racing fans should make a date in their diary for the Season Finale Race meeting at Sha Tin Racecourse on 16 July (photo 1).

Season Finale Bazaar

Popular racing-themed merchandise including apparel, accessories, bags, watches, wallets and stationary will be on sale at up to 70% off the regular price at both Happy Valley’s and Sha Tin’s finale race meetings (while stocks last).

Highlights of the day include the presentation ceremony for the Most Popular Jockey of the Year Award and the Tony Cruz Award, as well as the announcement of the Most Admired Overseas Horse. Connections of all Champion Awards winners will be on stage for a group photo to round off the 2016/17 racing season.

This will be followed by the ever-popular Season Finale Parade (photo 2) on the turf track, with jockeys saying farewell and thanks to fans while handing out souvenirs.

Throughout the day the Club’s Horse Mascots will make appearances for photo opportunities with racing fans.

Season Finale online game
Racing fans can also participate in an online game via the HKJC website from 7 July to 11 July to have the chance to win a foldable windbreaker (photo 3). The first 1,600 participants who answer all the questions correctly and submit their information successfully will win the prize.  Winners will be notified individually and must collect their prizes in person at Sha Tin Racecourse on 16 July at the designated time.
