To assist connections in their choice of jockey for the race meeting to be conducted on Sunday, 9 July 2017, the Club has arranged for Jockey Alberto Sanna to be available to accept race riding engagements at the stated race meeting.

Alberto Sanna, 32 years of age, is a former champion apprentice jockey in Italy who has in excess of 800 career wins to his credit and has been riding successfully for the past 5 seasons in Qatar and Bahrain where he was champion jockey for the recently completed racing season. Jockey Sanna’s minimum riding weight is 120 lbs.
