It was announced yesterday that permission has been granted for Jockey H Bowman to ride RUTHVEN for Trainer John Moore in the BMW Hong Kong Derby on Sunday, 18 March 2018 pending a medical clearance.  Jockey Bowman has this morning advised Stewards that he has been advised against riding this weekend, and accordingly will not be able to fulfil his intended engagement on RUTHVEN.  Following an application by trainer John Moore, approval has subsequently been granted for Jockey Damien Oliver to ride RUTHVEN in the BMW Hong Kong Derby.
