| Asti | Winner    at 2-win class (2600m) at Hakodate last summer.  Finished below par in    two starts over 3000m this term. | 
| Bijin | Mixed form on turf and dirt. Three-time winner on dirt. Back to turf at G3 (2000m) in January when 7th. The strategy worked well last time when setting the pace and finished a length 4th over 3000m. | 
| Coast Line | No match for the winners since moving up to this class. Well-beaten in six starts last season. Seasonal debut here. | 
| Hishi Gekko | Has not won since July 2019. Returned after a two-and-half month break last time to finish 6th over 2200m at Nakayama. | 
| Ho O Eclair | Has not tasted any success since moved up to this class in 2021. Showed upward curve, finishing third in the last two starts over 3000m and 2400m. | 
| Ho O Edel | Showed little at this class last term with double-digit finishes in last four starts. Unraced this season. Need some improvement. | 
| Ho O Reality | Finished 3rd over this course and distance in December 2022 and returned after a two-week break to finish 3rd again over 2200m at Nakayama in January. Only fair effort in the last two starts. | 
| Jean Kazuma | A winner at 1500m and 1800m. Stepped up to 2500m last autumn but has not impressed over the distance. Showed big improvement when winning at 2-win class at 2600m last time. | 
| Love Pyro | 2nd at G2 at NAR-Kawasaki in June 2022. Two-digit finishes in the last three starts on both turf and dirt. | 
| Meiner Columbus | No match for the winner when 7L 10th at 3-win class (2400m) at Tokyo in February last time. | 
| Seven Days | A three-time winner over dirt. Returned to turf in the last two starts but no match for the winners. | 
| Silky Voice | Show little in the last three starts since moved up to this class, finishing 8th, 11th and 9th respectively. | 
| Southern Nights | Made    all to take his third win over 2500m for the first time at 2-win class in    December 2022.  Finished 5th at 3-win class last time. | 
| Time Of Flight | A half-brother to 2017 G1 Hopeful Stakes winner Time Flyer. The son of Deep Impact was second, beaten only by a neck at this class (3000m) in February. |
