Dual Career

7-year-old has been highly unpredictable, running hot and cold, but has managed three seconds, including last out on 1 April over Nakayama 1200m. Not to be written off.

Freesia Tesoro

5-year-old started in JRA races with poor results moved to NAR and landed four straight wins. Returned in early March and finished 12th. Likely a contender here.

Hinode Mitchi

Miho-based colt has been slow away in his last four starts and despite being able to unleash some good late speed at times, has yet to better a 6th-place finish since his winning debut 8 starts ago. Not promising.

6-year-old has been given only three starts since last year, with poor results in all. First race in 3 months. Condition check on raceday key.

Meiner Citrus

Consistent colt has failed to win in last five starts, but has three finishes in the money at this level. Returning for first time since early October last year, longest layoff yet but may perform well amid this field. Miho-based.

Move

Colt has been brought down from mile to sprints with more consistent results. Finished a very close third 1 April over Nakayama 1200m. Tends to travel midfield with solid late kick. Prefers fast track. Promising.

4-year-old gelding returning from NAR circuit for first start in over 4 months. Started in JRA with poor results. May have matured. Raceday condition key.

My Amulet

Gelding competitive on NAR circuit turned in three double-digit finishes in JRA races, but surprised as 14th pick on 19 March to finish 5th over sloppy Nakayama 1200m. Still, this field likely a higher bar.

Neo Rainbow

7-year-old gelding has had only 2 finishes in money in last 11 starts of mixed dirt and turf events. Can display good speed with good late kick, but inconsistent. Weight has fluctuated wildly. Prepped with recent start. Has chance at money if weight has stabilized.

Nishino Cognac

Miho-based colt started with good results over 6 furlongs and moved up with win over Nakayama 1200m. Has failed to make better than fifth in six starts since but a return to Nakayama last out brought a second over a sloppy track. Improvement expected. Could be competitive amid this field.

Queen a Pawn

4-year-old filly showed promise last year racing to left and won at Niigata. Last 4 starts all at Nakayama with best fourth. Could get lucky amid this field.

Queen Advance

6-year-old mare has best 4th in last 19 starts. Lacks just a bit.
