The Chief Medical Officer has advised that the result this morning from the pre-race meeting test of Club Jockey A Hamelin under the Club’s mandatory daily polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing of jockeys is positive. Accordingly Jockey Hamelin cannot ride until further notice.

The Stewards have approved the following race riding substitutions for today’s Sha Tin racemeeting;-

Race 1 – Precise Express – M Barzalona

Race 3 – Superbella – M Barzalona

Race 5 – Travel Golf – H Bentley

Race 9 – Toronado Phantom – M Barzalona (probable overweight 2lbs)

A further release in respect of Jockey Hamelin’s eligibility to resume riding will be issued at the appropriate time.
