Had struggled at this level before a surprise 3rd on 30 July, when he settled back and ran on strongly. A repeat is not impossible.

Black Rookie

Luckless last start but the beaten margin wasn’t huge. Doesn’t have a great record at this distance but may be ready for another crack.

Bodyguard

On pace last start but weakened. Placed at this level in April.

Choegang Queen

Rapidly promoted in class and placed three times at this level before going a little cold in recent outings.

Eoseowa

Lots of experience at this class and won over the distance two starts ago in a fast time. Best when on pace or handy.

Jeongmun Prince

Up in class having made all to win over 1700m last time following two runner-up finishes. Has placed at this distance at lower levels. Tactically versatile.

Makalu Power

Came from well off the pace to win over 1400m in a Class 5 in July but only beat three home on his first try at this class on 14 August.

Sirius Alpha

Came up rapidly in class winning two of her first four. Last of eight on first try at this level in July but worth another chance. Her wins have come from on the lead.

Wonderful Kitty

Winner of her latest two, most recently at this class over 1300m. Settles back in her races and runs on.
