Well bred colt by Lord Kanaloa out of the multiple graded race winner Dia de la Novia.  2nd in the Listed Principal Stakes (2000m) last May and failed to justify his favoritism in the following 1-win class when 2nd. Has been training well since 2nd in January.  Chance.

Meiner Hitze

The rain-affected track helped when finishing inside top two for the first time in 6 starts at the class last out.  Races handy and his staying power will surely be a plus.

No Excuse

Showed his class when winning by 3 lengths in a maiden.  Firm and good to firm ground should be his best. Showed little on his return from 5-month layoff last July after being gelded.  First run since.

Saimon Verano

Mixed form on both turf and dirt, and winless in 9 starts since retransferred to JRA last February.  It will be her first run since last October.

Winner over this distance and course in one of his ten career starts, but finished out of frame on his return from 6-month layoff at Nakayama last out in April. 

Shonan Powerful

First run since retransferred to JRA. Has been training well and in good shape.  By Rulership out of Manhattan Cafe mare, there will be no surprise if he runs well.

Vanishing Point

7-length win with strong finish in a newcomer but yet to win at this class.  Did not prove his favoritism and no match for the winner last out over the distance at Nakayama.
