1300m – Polytrack
| 1 | Simply Striking | Won over this course and distance this day last year, delivered with a strong challenge. Should be fresh from a break after two close placed efforts at Longchamp in May. |
| 2 | Le Bronn | Won five consecutive races – in handicap and claiming company – late last year and early this year. Handicap mark has dropped again after some less good runs. |
| 3 | Tibasti | Has generally struggled in recent starts, including at Meydan, but has a good record on Deauville’s polytrack, and over this trip. |
| 4 | Oxalis | Twice a winner including over this trip on turf at Longchamp on his penultimate start. Not so good last time when favourite, his first start after being gelded. |
| 5 | Hot Spot | His career wins have come on lesser French tracks – including last time out -but he nearly pulled off a shock win at long odds when third on Chantilly’s all-weather surface in May. |
| 6 | Shoal Of Time | Dropping in trip after some disappointments over further. Did win a handicap over 1600m on Chantilly’s polytrack in January. |
| 7 | Shere Calm | Accelerated to win a handicap over this course and distance last August. Lightly-raced since but returned with a good second at Saint-Cloud this month. |
| 8 | Botch | Supplemented, he has some placed efforts at a minor track on his last two starts. Went close to winning a turf Listed event here last August. |
| 9 | Euryale | A seven times winner, with some good all-weather form at Chantilly. He has also won over this trip. |
| 10 | Power Jack | Has some good winning form at around this trip in Germany. Respectable turf efforts on his last two starts, at Longchamp and Chantilly. |
| 11 | Faithfilly Man | Moved to this stable earlier in 2021 but has not shown much flair since. About a year ago he finished second over this course and distance. |
| 12 | The Champ | Showed guts to win a handicap over this trip on a slow turf surface at Longchamp in May. His Deauville efforts have generally been good. |
| 13 | Magic Vati | Making his debut on this track. Very effective on a polytrack surface and at this distance, winning twice at Chantilly. |
| 14 | Spring Street | Although she ran poorly last time she has plenty of good runs to her credit here including when favourite and beating a big field over course and distance a year ago. |
| 15 | Griegos | His best form seems to have come over longer, including when winning over 1500m here. However he is in good shape, winning last time out. |
| 16 | Arabino | A 1400m Fontainebleau winner but hasn’t looked like supplementing that in three subsequent Longchamp runs. Didn’t show much on a sole Deauville run. |
