2000m – Turf
Dawn Intello | Had clearly been working well as he was made a hot favourite to make a winning debut on Deauville’s all-weather surface last November, winning easily. An encouraging 3rd at Saint-Cloud on his 2020 return. |
Episodia | A good winner at Fontainebleau on her debut but then struggled on muddy ground at Toulouse, not helped by having a poor run up the rail. Her trainer thinks she is capable of winning at Listed level. |
Hellenistique | Closed down his two-year-old career with two nice wins at provincial tracks including at this distance. However he made a disappointing start to 2020 when starting favourite but failing to quicken in the straight at Lyon Parilly. |
Koskov |
Did manage to win a minor event at a provincial track over 1800m last October, but struggled to make any impact in much stronger company at Saint-Cloud on his 2020 return. |
Measure Of Time |
Survived heavy ground and a tough battle with one opponent (the rest finishing way behind) when making a winning career debut in a Fontainebleau maiden last November. He holds some big entries and could be very smart. |
Salesman | Not one of the superstars in France’s greatest stable but he has shown promise, and briefly looked like winning a 2200m maiden at Lyon Parilly in May, outgunned by two opponents late on. |
Vienne | She has been favourite in four of her five starts and though she has only won one of those she appears to try hard, looking to come up against a potentially classy rival when 2nd over 2100m at Saint-Cloud in May. |
