The Hong Kong Jockey Club announced today, Tuesday, 19 May, changes to the dates of Simulcast Races in the Simulcast Day Fixture list for the 2019/20 racing season. The change in dates is due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the suspension of racing in Great Britain, France and Singapore. The new dates are as a result of changes which the relevant racing authorities have made to the calendar now that racing has resumed or is scheduled to resume in those countries.

The Club is monitoring closely the situation regarding Royal Ascot. The Royal meeting’s five race days are at this stage still scheduled to be held as planned from Tuesday, 16 June to Saturday, 20 June. The latest update from Singapore is that the Kranji Mile Day will be rescheduled to a date yet to be announced.
A further release will be issued in due course in relation to updates about the new dates of postponed Simulcast Days.
