Dubai World Cup Day
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting eight races on Dubai World Cup Day from Meydan Racecourse in Dubai on Saturday, 28 March. The first race will start at 8.15pm Hong Kong time.
The 2020 Dubai World Cup marks the 25th anniversary of this glamorous sporting event. In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the race meeting will be held without general spectators this year, but plenty of top horses from around the globe are still on course to compete for the lucrative US$35 million worth of purses on offer.
Hong Kong will be represented on the night by two of its leading dirt track performers in BIG TIME BABY (Manfred Man) and ELUSIVE STATE (Tony Millard), who will tackle the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen (1200m) and the G2 Godolphin Mile (1600m) respectively.
