SIN G3 – 1200m – Turf
| Inferno | Rising star who remains unbeaten after three career starts and returned from a break with a blistering 1200m victory in fast time. Expected to be the shortest price favourite of the day and it’s hard to tip against him despite rising in the weights. |
| Field Marshal | Another unbeaten galloper who has won all three career starts but against much inferior rivals, when compared to Inferno. Has a great will to win and can finish in the top five. |
| Universal Empire | Led all the way to win a moderate Class 4 race on the polytrack and takes a massive rise in class here. Has the speed to be on the pace but he appears to face a tough task. |
| Bluestone | Beaten for the first time last start when he was returning from a break and was up 21kg in bodyweight. He should strip fitter and has the ability to figure in the top three. |
| Big Hearted | Lost no friend with a fast finishing 2nd to Inferno last start, when he rattled off the second fastest final 400m of the race. Looks the testing material and must be rated a knockout chance. |
| Beer Garden | Caught wide last start in a fast run race, where the winner broke the course record. Prior to that won a much easier Restricted Maiden race. This looks too tough. |
| Rocket Star | Has never finished further back than second in his five-start career and was runner up to Inferno in the SIN G2 Golden Horseshoe (1200m) as a 2YO. Has loads of ability and rates second best. |
| Qiji Acheeva | Narrowly beaten last start in a much easier race and he appears outclassed at this level. |
| Celavi | Promising filly who lost no friends with a gallant 3rd to Inferno last start. Drops to 116lb, will give you a great sight. |
| War Frontier | Remains a maiden after four starts and cannot be recommended. |
