The Stewards have received advice from the Racing Medical Officer that a MRI scan of Freelance Jockey Alvin K C Ng’s right ankle which he injured whilst riding trackwork at Sha Tin Racecourse on Saturday, 27 October 2018 has revealed a fracture to that ankle. The medical advice is that, at this stage, Jockey Ng will not be fit to ride for a period of 4 to 6 weeks.

A further release will be issued at the appropriate time in relation to Jockey Ng’s fitness to be able to resume riding.
