RACE 3 – BRAVE LEGEND

BRAVE LEGEND, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.  BRAVE LEGEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  As previously advised, BRAVE LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 5 – ART OF RAW

ART OF RAW, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  ART OF RAW was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  As previously advised, ART OF RAW will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 7 – BEAUT BEAUT

BEAUT BEAUT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea.  BEAUT BEAUT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer L Ho this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  As previously advised, BEAUT BEAUT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
