A total prize of more than $10 million is up for grabs this Thursday’s night race meeting at Happy Valley Racecourse on 18 October. Both the Triple Trio and Six Win Bonus will carry jackpots with an expected total dividend of up to $9 million, while the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool will also be allocated with a $1.6 million jackpot.
As there were no Triple Trio winners last Wednesday, a jackpot of $1.8 million has been carried over to the pool of this Thursday’s Happy Valley night meeting. The payout is estimated to reach $4 million if there is only one $10 winning unit. The Six Win Bonus also carries a $1.9 million jackpot, and the dividend for a single $10 winning unit is estimated to reach $5 million. In addition, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool will be topped up with a $1.6 million jackpot, which will be allocated to Races 6 and 8, with each race carrying a jackpot of $0.8 million.
Last season’s top payout records for Happy Valley race meetings show that the Quartet had its highest payout, close to $0.8 million dollars on a $10 winning unit, and the First 4 paid out a dividend exceeding $30,000 on a $10 winning unit.
