G2 – 1000m – Turf
| 1 | Chelsea Cloisters | Her US stable have had lots of success with their two-year-old raiders to Royal Ascot. She looked very fast when romping to an 8L winning margin in a 900m maiden on the dirt at Keeneland in April. Will need to prove her grass credentials. |
| 2 | Come On Leicester | Finished 2L third to today’s rival Shades Of Blue when they both made their debuts in a maiden over this course and distance in May. Then showed the benefit of the experience when easily winning a fast-ground novices’ event at Windsor. |
| 3 | Country Rose | Quickly bagging the rail at Lingfield on her third and most recent start she led all the way and kept on when challenged. Another decent performance but it will be a surprise if she is fast enough to win this. |
| 4 | Daphinia | A narrow winner on her debut on the Wolverhampton all-weather. An outsider when raised in class and moving to grass, she ran a really good second of 14 in a Listed event at York last month, a race has often been a good pointer to this one. |
| 5 | Deia Glory | Still a maiden but she came close to pulling off a 50-1 shock in a Beverley conditions race this month, leading for most of the way and only nailed by a much more fancied rival late on. Her pedigree is all about speed. |
| 6 | Forever In Dreams | From a French stable getting a big reputation for two-year-old success. She has won both starts, latterly when pressing the pace from the start to win a 1200m event on slow ground at Saint-Cloud last month. Her nearest victim has won since. |
| 7 | Global Goddess | She looked to need the experience on her only start, on the all-weather at Wolverhampton last month. Pushed along at the back, she made brief progress before weakening. Needs to do an awful lot more here. |
| 8 | Gossamer Wings | Made a dismal start when a well-beaten favourite but has done much better in two races since, latterly holding off a strong late challenger in a maiden at Navan this month. Her brilliant Irish stable have struggled to win this particular Ascot race. |
| 9 | Haats Off | Has run decently in all three starts especially last time – in April – when a runner-up in a heavy-ground conditions’ race at Salisbury, headstrong for much of the race but sticking on bravely. However that form has been let down frequently since. |
| 10 | Kodyanna | From a stable that always houses lots of two-year-old talent and this filly showed the benefit of experience from her first start when pouncing late to win quite a decent looking event at Beverley earlier this month. |
| 11 | Kurious | Bred to be very fast and she kicked off her career in the best style, bagging the far rail at Sandown Park 13 days ago and leading throughout on the fast-ground. That race looked decent on paper and she and the second pulled clear of the rest. |
| 12 | Little Kim | From a stable now in top form and she made a winning start 13 days ago with a solid defeat of eight rivals over this distance (good ground) in a novices’ event at Carlisle. |
| 13 | Luchador | From a small stable who are doing really well, and she got off the mark on her third start when leading from gate to wire at Thirsk last month, battling bravely in the closing stages. However this is a much stronger contest. |
| 14 | Red Balloons | She has run well in both starts, latterly when runner-up at Musselburgh – a race that some smart juveniles have competed in over the years. She was unlucky not to finish closer there – twice hampered by the same rival. |
| 15 | Second Generation | Speedily bred and she had clearly learnt from her first racing experience, with a polished winning display in a fast-ground novices’ event over this distance at Catterick last month, drawing 6L clear of her nearest victim. |
| 16 | Servalan | Ran encouragingly first time out and then she stepped up to 1200m and Listed race class to win at Naas last month. Slowly away and last for much of the trip but then she powered past her rivals. The drop back in trip may pose difficulties. |
| 17 | Shades Of Blue | An athletic looking filly who readily shot through a gap to win a smart fillies’ maiden race over this course and distance last month. The second and third have both won since so the form looks strong. She looks a major contender here. |
| 18 | Shumookhi | Having run well on her first start, she won on her second start – gaining a narrow victory in a ten-runner event at Catterick. From an upwardly mobile stable but the form of that Catterick event does not look very strong. |
| 19 | Signora Cabello | Has experience, this being her fourth start – having won the last two. Latterly she looked in trouble when being pushed along in a fast-ground Listed event at York but she responded well to pressure and was comfortably on top at the end. |
| 20 | Snazzy | Nicely-bred and she was quite a stylish winner on the all-weather on her debut back in March. Returning last month in a Listed event on fast turf at York, she showed plenty of zip to finish quite a close third of 14. |
| 21 | So Perfect | Led on the wire to win a 1000m maiden on slow ground at Navan on her debut. She then started odds-on to win a Listed event at Naas last month, but disappointed – although not having a good trip – fourth to today’s rival Servalan. |
| 22 | Yolo Again | Has improved race by race and won a fast-ground maiden over this trip at Navan earlier this month, in and out of the lead and responding well to pressure. This a big step up but she looks smart. |
