Race 5 – HAPPY SURVEYS

HAPPY SURVEYS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  HAPPY SURVEYS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D E Ferraris this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg with a stiff and restricted action.  As previously advised, HAPPY SURVEYS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
