The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting 9 races from the 2000 Guineas Day to be held at Newmarket on Saturday, 4 May and the 1000 Guineas, Dahlia Stakes and Devil’s Dyke Handicap on the following day of 5 May. World Pool will also be hosted to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans.

The British Classic season kick starts with the running of the 2000 Guineas. Since its inception in 1809, the G1 2000 Guineas (1600m) has long been established as a premier event for the three-year-old generation. It is the opening leg of the illustrious English Triple Crown and, for more than two centuries, some of the sport’s finest horses have sought Classic glory over the famous Rowley Mile.

1000 Guineas, Dahlia Stakes and Devil’s Dyke Handicap (First race 21.25 Hong Kong time)
Top class racing continues at Newmarket on Sunday. Taking center stage is the second Classic of the British Flat season, the 1000 Guineas which is opened only to three-year-old fillies. It was first run in 1814, five years after the successful introduction of the 2000 Guineas. The simulcast is completed with the G2 Dahlia Stakes for older fillies and mares and the Devil’s Dyke heritage handicap for stayers.
