RACE 8 – GOLDEN LONG

After the race, GOLDEN LONG was noted to have bled from both nostrils. GOLDEN LONG was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, GOLDEN LONG will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
