RACE 1 – ANGELS HUNTER

After the race, Jockey K De Melo expressed concern with the horse’s action. The Veterinary Officer reported that ANGELS HUNTER was found to be distressed. ANGELS HUNTER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K L Man yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, ANGELS HUNTER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 8 – FIERY DIAMOND

After the race, Jockey K De Melo expressed concern with the horse’s action. The Veterinary Officer reported that there were no significant findings. FIERY DIAMOND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer T P Yung yesterday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, FIERY DIAMOND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted yesterday morning of all other horses inspected during last Wednesday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
