| 1 | Revolutionary Miss | Is a G3 winner at the track over 1600m. Resumed with a G3 win at Flemington (1400m) on 17 February when raced handy to the lead. Has the right credentials and form to be a major player in this at a track she likes. |
| 2 | Wrote To Arataki | A consistent mare who races well at Caulfield. Was disappointing at most recent run in G3 over 1200m at Caulfield when started favorite but finished fourth, beaten 4.75L. The rise in distance will enhance her chances. |
| 3 | Shuffle Dancer | Is good enough on her day but was well beaten at her last start in G1 company at Flemington (1600m). First up for this and could sneak a place at odds. |
| 4 | Vagrant | One of the top chances. Has won her past three, including two at Caulfield, which included the G3 Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes (1200m). Can race handy or on the pace. Will have plenty of admirers. |
| 5 | Barbie’s Fox | Veteran mare who wasn’t expected to produce much in her first-up run from a spell over 1100m at Caulfield and ran accordingly. The rise to 1400m is a bonus but she would need to improve to be a major player. |
| 6 | Party For One | Resumed in the G3 Geoffrey Bellmaine Stakes (1200m) and was beaten 3L after having first run since a long break. Held her position in the small field. Will be significantly improved by the run. Won twice over 1400m at Flemington last year. |
| 7 | Forbidden City | Much improved run at Flemington last start when finished 0.4L second in G3 to Revolutionary Miss. She is capable enough but the big knock is that she hasn’t won since 2023. Hard to make a winning case for her. |
| 8 | Running By | Poised to deliver a big race victory. The lightly raced mare has only had eight starts for three wins and two seconds. Always competitive but went down to finish fourth when highly fancied at last start over 1600m. Will appreciate the 1400m and can win. |
| 9 | Versilia | Entitled not to have much support after being just okay in easier races. While having a reasonable overall strike-rate, she hasn’t won for many months. Has been second at her past two starts but hard to see her going one better. |
| 10 | Eternal Flame | Classy mare who had no luck when finishing fifth G3 Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on 17 February. Was held up for clear running at crucial stages of the race and only beaten 1.55L. The one to beat. |
