Following Jockey H Bowman being granted leave to withdraw his appeal in respect to a careless riding charge issued on 24 January 2024, the Stewards have acceded to an application from Jockey Bowman to amend the terms of this suspension. Accordingly, for this offence, Jockey Bowman will be suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 7 February 2024 and to expire on Tuesday, 13 February 2024 on which day he may ride (2 Hong Kong racedays).

Further, as a result of the appeal being withdrawn, the Stewards have determined the dates of suspension for the careless riding charge issued at yesterday’s Sha Tin racemeeting. Jockey Bowman will be suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Thursday, 15 February 2024 and to expire on Thursday, 22 February 2024 on which day he may ride (3 Hong Kong racedays).
