Showed improvement in last two starts since returning from  a four-month break and won at lower class over this distance at Niigata last time. 

Date Boreas

Two-time winner on turf but winless since May 2022.  Finished sixth in his first run on dirt at this distance in September. 

Jet Max

The American-bred Goldencents-sired horse comes off a 2.8L sixth at this class over this course and distance last time. 

Kimon Tsugaru

Debut at NAR-Funabashi in 2022 and two-time winner in 21 starts on the circuits.  Unraced at JRA. 
 

King Ku

Won at lower class (1150m) at Fukushima in April since racing back at JRA in March.  Unraced since July. 

Okammo Shacho

Grabbed her second career win at NAR-Urawa in October.  Raced on speed in last three starts but capable of racing back. 
 

Pas De Quatre

Winless since April 2019.  His last two runs were in steeplechase races over turf and finished runner-up last time. 

Pretty In Pink

Didn’t show much in last five starts at this class over 1150m to 1400m on dirt.

Purple Glory

Showed little in last three starts at this class over 1200m and 1400m on dirt.  This seems tough.

Rural Happiness

This promising three-year-old filly finished in the top three in six of seven starts on both dirt and turf.  A winning chance here.

Seiun Harukani

Unplaced in five starts at this class over this distance on dirt but not surprising if he is placed here. 

Worlds Collide

The American-bred War Front colt won a maiden race over this course and distance in April.  Two-digit finish at G3 (1600m) in June but showed improvement when runner-up on his return from a five-and-a-half month break last time. 

Z Nova

Consistent four-year-old colt with three seconds and three thirds from eight starts this year.  First run at Nakayama looks his only query.
