Club Chairman presents the Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club trophy at Deauville Photo Release

The Chairman of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Mr Michael Lee presents the trophy to winning connections of the G3 Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club (2000m) at Deauville Racecourse in France on Sunday, 13 August. The André Fabre-trained Place Du Carrousel won the G3 event with Mickael Barzalona on board.

Horse racing has a long history in both France and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Jockey Club is supporting both the G3 Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Prix Hong Kong Jockey Club (to be held on Tuesday, 15 August) at Deauville in August. The events reflect the strong links between France Galop and The Hong Kong Jockey Club, both of which play an important role in promoting global horse racing development.
