Moved from Germany to England this year. Previously won G2 Italian Derby and ran respectably in G1 races. This year decent runs in G2/G3 races at Meydan. Not run since March. An outside chance.

Changingoftheguard

Won G2 King Edward VII Stakes over 2400m at Royal Ascot last year and third at G3 over 2700m at Chester last month. A fair chance.

Deauville Legend

Improved since second in King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot over same distance last year. Then won G3 and G2 races before fourth in G1 Melbourne Cup over 3200m in November. Not run since. Excellent chance if at his best.

Grand Alliance

Second in G2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot over same distance last year. Won G3 over 2400m at Newbury in April. Not ruled out.

Hukum

6-y-o won 10 from 16, including seven Group races. Third in this race 2021 and career best when winning G1 Coronation Cup over 2400m at Epsom last year. Warmed up by winning G3 at Sandown in May. The leading contender.

Pyledriver

High class at 2000m and 2400m. Career best when won G1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes over this course and distance last July. A concern that not run since. Respected.

West Wind Blows

Progressive 4-y-o. Won G3 over 2000m at Longchamp 13 days ago. Best form at that distance but now likely to do as well over further. Needs further improvement.

Free Wind

Won 6 of 8. Talented, progressive and versatile. On sole run last year won G2 Lancashire Oaks over 2400m. On return in May won G2 over 2100m. Has won over 2900m and on fast and slow ground. A major chance.
