Has failed to win at this level in last 16 starts, but has made money on three occasions, including third in latest start over Niigata 1800m. Suited to Tokyo but will need good trip, luck to prevail here.

Versatile, consistent Ritto-based mare with 9-2-2-6 at this level taking on Tokyo for first time. Drop in distance, change of venue pluses. Work ample. Chances good with fast track.

High Esteem

Petite filly has decent speed but one gear. Second try at this level after sixth early April. Good results racing to left. Could surprise.

Kayonenka

Moving up in class after 9 tries, win mid-April over Fukushima 2000m. Good late speed. Competition strong but has ample chance.

Misurina

Mare with early speed returning after 3 months. Has missed money in last 8 starts at this level. Looking good in work but quite a bit of luck needed to be competitive here.

Romneya

Versatile filly from Miho-based Sakae Kunieda stable moving up in class after numerous tries, win at Kokura. Tends to tense up but had nice lead last out. One gear and prefers to run close to pace. Tokyo will be a big step up. Going not a concern. Could do well with right trip.

Rouge Eclair

Highly consistent filly at 7-8 furlongs being given more distance for first time. Experienced at Tokyo with good results. Has good late speed, but engine late to rev. Extra distance should be a plus. Maintaining condition. Promising.

Satono Zenobia

Big filly posted second win on ninth try, but finished 10th last out mid-April at Nakayama. Often late at break. Slow to rev. Spacious Tokyo could help. With a lot of luck.

Sweet Bloom

Has done poorly over last six tries at this level. Overall speed lacking. Likely not a contender here.
