Proven over this course and distance, finishing in top three in 5 runs.  Displayed some progress, reaching top five in last three starts.

Caprarola

Three straight wins at NAR before retransferred to JRA in April but no match for the winner at this level over Fukushima 1800m last time.
 

Carica

Showed little in five starts this term.  Hold-up runner.  No ground worries.

Graville

This will be her first time run on dirt. Sired by Le Havre and out of Absolute Lady, this mare is likely competitive over the surface.  

Hellebore Blanche

The 5-year-old daughter of Real Impact did not suit Nakayama last time.  Likes the left handed course as she reaches top three on the counter clockwise. 

June Pompon

The 4-year-old has proven to be consistent, with 10 of 11 career starts finishing on board.  Ran 3rd over this course and distance in February last time.  Tactically versatile.
 

Le Chocolat

Posted best 2nd from 8 starts at this class with on-pace effort  at Hanshin in March and came off 4th-place over 1400m at NAR-Kasamatsu in April last time.  No track worries.

Maple Pudding

The daughter of Orfevre retransferred to JRA in April after 5 wins at NAR.  No match for the winners in recent two starts.

Meteor d’Avril

Has not tasted any success since the newcomer race over Nakayama 1800m in 2020, but showed her class when 2nd over this course and distance last time.  Did show some nice footwork in morning trackwork.  Competitive.

Mignon Lumiere

The 4-year-old filly by the G1 Hong Kong Cup winner A Shin Hikari is a light horse with speed.  Was disadvantaged by insufficient room in the stretch last time but change of venue could bring surprise.

Peace Keeper

Moved up to this class in October 2022.  Shifted to dirt for the first time in her career, notching 0.5L second in December.  Well-beaten in the first two starts this term but showed lots of improvement when 3rd over Hanshin 1200m last time.

Royal Soul

Showed little in four starts at this class.  No match for the winner on her return from 9-month break over Hanshin 1800m last time. 

Shiun

The 4-year-old daughter of Maurice posted 5-13 in two starts over Tokyo 1400m.  Was disadvantaged by stumbling from the gate last time.

With the World

Showed consistent runs at this class but seemed to dislike the rain affected track when 8th over Nakayama 1800m last time.
