The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting seven races from the Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) Day meeting at Nakayama Racecourse, Japan, on Sunday, 16 April.
Nakayama’s spring racing season concludes on a high note with the G1 Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) – a 2000m race open exclusively to 3yo colts and fillies. The Classic race is the first leg of the Japanese Triple Crown and has served as a launching pad for many future champions such as Deep Impact, Orfevre and Gold Ship. The top five finishers in the Satsuki Sho are guaranteed to start in the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) held at the end of next month over 2400m.
