To provide more convenience and an improved customer experience in managing online betting accounts, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) will implement enhancements to the “HKJC Account Opening” mobile app today. The update allow customers to register, change and add a bank account for funds transfer online without having to visit an Off-Course Betting Branch, offering a more flexible funds transfer service.

The account application can be completed in just five minutes. It may be approved on the same day, depending on whether the applicant has provided all required information and the time needed by the customer’s selected bank to process the application.

For existing customers who have forgotten their betting account number and passwords, or are not sure if they have registered an account before, the “Manage my Account” function can also be used to reset the betting account and login information to reactivate betting services.

The interface of “HKJC Account Opening” is user-friendly, with interactive text instructions and voice guidance for applicants to follow in a simple and easy process. Existing users are required to update the “HKJC Account Opening” mobile app for the latest version. iPhone and Android users can download the app from relevant Hong Kong app stores or through the Club’s official website at https://m.hkjc.com.
