RACE 6 – WELLINGTON
WELLINGTON, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. WELLINGTON was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer R Gibson this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, WELLINGTON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
