2

Rosa Noir

Mixed form over turf and dirt in 32 career starts.  Took her first win over turf at Nakayama in a Listed race in December 2021 and finished close 3rd in the G3 Queen Stakes (1800m) in July.  Usually leads or sits handily.

3

Pin High

4

Daring Tact

The 2020 Fillies Triple Crown winner.  Showed the second fastest late kick and ran good 3rd in the G1 Takarazuka Kinen (2200m) in June.  Below par when 6th in her latest start in G2 All Comers (2200m) in September.

5

Magical Lagoon

Mrs J Harrington trainee from Ireland has settled well at Hanshin racecourse since the 3-year-old filly by Galileo arrived in Japan on 29 October.  This year’s G1 Irish Oaks (2400m) winner finished 5th to Alpinista in the Yorkshire Oaks (2371m) last time out.

6

Ho O Emmy’s

5 wins from 22 starts.  Took an upset victory and her first win at 2200m in an open-class race at Niigata last month.  No ground worries.

7

Izu Jo No Kiseki

The daughter of Epiphaneia beat Sodashi, the popular white filly, in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) for her first group race win last time.  All 5 wins are over 1800m or 1600m.  The 2200m should be a concern.

8

Andvaranaut

3rd place in the G1 Shuka Sho (2000m) last year.  Disappointing 14th in the G1 Victoria Mile in May, but showed upward curve last time out when 3rd in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m).

9

Win Kiitos

The G2 Meguro Kinen (2500m) winner of 2021. Finished out of frame in the seasonal bow over 2500m at G2 in March, but showed better form in last two starts, including a 2.8L 3rd in the G2 All Comers (2200m) in September.

10

Stunning Rose

Finished on the board in all her 10 starts.  She put a stop to Stars On Earth’s bid to become a triple crown winner and took her first G1 title in the Shuka Sho (2000m) on 16 October.

11

Namur

Although all her 3 wins are at 1600m, the daughter of Harbinger showed good turn of speed in the last two jewels of the Fillies Triple Crown and finished 3rd and 2nd respectively.

12

Ruby Casablanca

Consistent between 1800m and 2200m with 5 wins, 4 seconds and 5 thirds in 24 starts.  Finished 0.8L 4th in the G3 Queen Stakes (1800m) latest.  Races from deep.

13

Win Marilyn

The multiple group race winner did not hit on the board at G1 this term but showed her talent last time when 3rd behind Jack d’Or and Panthalassa in the G2 Sapporo Kinen (2000m).

14

Akai Ito

Marked an upset victory in this race last year.  Coming off a 10th in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) on her return from a 5-month break.  Should be fitter for that run.

15
