| Beauty One | One of most experienced in field with three starts, but first time over 10 furlongs. Started with two mile races on turf (one to left, one to right) and ran third in both. Switched to dirt last out mid Sept. and scored first win over 1800m under new partner Yuga Kawada. Difficult temperament, lacks concentration. Returning to turf. |
| Danon Pedro | Won debut over Chukyo 2000m. Got into position easily without becoming unbalanced, upped pace gradually. Moved inside when path opened. Responses excellent. Good racing sense. Maintaining condition. |
| Flyer True | Won debut over Niigata 1800m at end August. Big-striding honest runner. Lost concentration a bit, but dug down and held ground for tenacious finish. Slow start in work but rallied for good overall time. |
| From Now On | Leapt from debut win over Fukushima 1800m to 8th-place in G3 over Tokyo mile early October. Was a bit heavy and still weak behind. Response was lacking stretch. Trip was difficult, mile a bit busy. Looking refreshed in work. More relaxed pace of 2000m should help. |
| Le Monde Brille | Honest runner won easily over Hanshin 2000m under Christophe Lemaire mid Oct. Not bothered in among other horses. Speed not brilliant but has guts, responds well. Showing further improvement in work. |
| Lord Radius | Is 4-1-5, all over 1800m. Last raced in Oct. at Hanshin for first time. Spooked and lacked concentration over first half. Has ability but needs to keep mind on work. |
| Photon Blue | Huge colt won debut largely on strength alone over Sapporo 1800m in late August. May not be suited to tighter-turned tracks. Weight up last week in work but moving well. |
| Seven Magician | Won debut over Nakayama 1800m. Broke well and easily went forward for position. Uses body well and has good racing sense, doesn’t shrink from pressure. Stayed on right lead throughout but conquered stretch hill and threw others off. Good potential. Extra furlong shouldn’t pose problem. |
| Toa Raiden | Won debut wire to wire over Kokura 1800m in early Sept. Still lacks concentration at times and has some trouble in gate. Makes up for lack of concentration with strong competitiveness. Needed a bit more work as of last week. |
