Finished good 3rd over this course and distance on his return from 6-month break in April, but finished below par in the last two starts.

Danon General

Justified his favoritism in the newcomer race in November 2020, however has not grabbed any win since. His best form in this season was 3rd in this class (1800m) in February. Well beaten last out.

Fantasia

Well-bred filly, from the same female line as Almond Eye.  Won impressively in the newcomer in September 2021. Struggled in last two starts but likely returned her good form here.

Ho O Fujin

Took 2 thirds over 2200m at Chukyo before won the lower class (2300m) at Tokyo. Finished below par on his return from 4-month break, but showed upward curve with good 4th when dropping down to this distance last time.

Kindlich

This course and distance should be his best trip with 1 win and 3 seconds in four starts here. Showed consistent runs so far in this season, never missing on the board in 7 starts. Chance.

Lupus Tesoro

Mixed form. A winner over dirt and finished inside top three over 1800m and 2000m in four starts. Well beaten in last two starts.

Lyrids

His first win was over dirt (1800m) at Nakayama in April. Struggled to handle the softish track when 5th last time. Stretched out to this distance should be a good factor.

Meiner Messiah

Finished on board 3 times from 4 starts in this class. Showed suitability to this course and distance when 2nd in the lower class in March. From pedigree background, he has a staying power.

Rivette

All but one runs over dirt. His first trip over turf was 3L 6th over this distance at Chukyo in October 2021.

The Three Thirty

Since retransferred to JRA in August 2020, the 7-year-old has yet to gain any success in this class. He will stretch out the distance for the first time here.

Warp Speed

Never failed to finish on board in 8 runs. Took his long-awaited first win in the maiden race over 2400m when he made all the way to finish by 3.5L last time in April. Chance.
