With a focused design on football theme and specific zones tailored for various groups of customers, the revamped 3-storey Kwai Chung Wing Fong Road Shop reopened on 31 August to bring a fascinating leisure and entertainment experience to our customers in a new face.
“Sports Ground” – the power zone for live race/match broadcasts and virtual sports contest (Ground Floor, Wing Fong Road entrance)
Inspired by the adjacent football pitch and sports complex in Kwai Chung District, the shop is replete with sports elements. Entering the “Sports Ground” zone from Wing Fong Road, football fans can delve into a football fantasyland that features “football field” flooring and football-themed LED window displays. The big TV screen that features football matches and live sports events allows sports lovers and football fans to join the excitement. There is also a theatre area with big projector screen, where fans can also try their football skills in the Meta-Game Zone before enjoying the live match. During the half-time breaks, customers can appreciate a collection of carefully curated designer toys showcased in the zone or even grab the hottest items from the vending machines. Regular football match gatherings will also be held to bring fans together in this “Sports Ground” environment.
“Train to Win” – first-hand excitement on horse racing or football training simulators (First Floor)
The “Train to Win” zone brings three thrilling jockey and football training simulators to sports enthusiasts for a first-hand horse racing or football experience. Customer can access to these experiences with friends by purchasing the ePass. On race days, “Race-cation” experience package comes with a full day of live race broadcasts in addition to specialty drinks and meal. The Racing Specialist will also be stationed to share racing information with the customers. This zone is available for private or corporate booking to host parties and gatherings for participants to enjoy training facilities as well as live broadcasts of races and catering services.
“Inspire to Win” – a leisure and fun zone for reading, workshops and events excitement (First Floor)
The “Inspire to Win” features an extensive collection of books and magazines on lifestyle, sports, football and racing topics, and is the “go-to” spot for a relaxing time. This zone is also a good choice for leisure-seeking over KOL sharing sessions and workshops or some board games with friends. Installed with large TVs, this zone allows customers to stay for the whole day to enjoy the excitement of the races and matches.
“LOF10” – a delightful break with light refreshments and signature beverages (First Floor)
“LOF10” satiates the hunger of one’s stomach and the thirst for style with its signature dishes and specialty refreshments. Renowned for its coffee art, “LOF10” barista will be happy to create a latte art based on the customers’ own photographs for sharing a great moment on social media. This is also a great place for football fans to get together to grab some food and relax after enjoying a football match nearby. For a limited time, customers can take a snap in the photo booth next to “LOF10” for fun photographs featuring adorable horses and football cartoons specially designed by a Japanese illustrator.
“Betting and media hall” (Second Floor, Shing Fong Street entrance)
Entering from the entrance on Shing Fong Street leads to the self-service betting area. Going up another floor is the betting and media hall that features a TV wall, comfortable seatings and comprehensive betting facilities to bring an elevated wagering experience for racing and football fans. The zone is designed to give a nostalgic feeling through vintage-styled tiles and seatings, and to bring the memory back to the old days of Hong Kong people’s pastime through a collection of rare historical photos of Off-Course Betting Branches in 70s and 80s, racing moments in the old days and the look of Kwai Chung Wing Fong Road Shop before the refurbishment.
The facilities of Kwai Chung Wing Fong Road Shop are now available for reservations. Customers can visit any Off-Course Betting Branches, or simply scan the shop’s specific QR code which also provides more information and latest promotions about the shop.
