HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast eight races of Irish Champion Stakes Day from Leopardstown Racecourse in Ireland on Saturday, 10 September. Bets will be accepted* for these races and two Double Trio pools will be offered.
World Pool will also be hosted (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble) to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans.
With effect from 10 September’s Irish Champion Stakes Day, the takeout rate of the Tierce will be reduced by 3%, down to 22 % from 25% and the rebate scheme currently available for local races will expand to include simulcast races. Rebates will be offered for the pools of Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Merged Pool Win on losing bets placed on simulcast overseas races (excludes outbound commingling pools). Any ticket or betline with a total losing bet amount of HK$10,000 or above will be eligible to receive a rebate of 6%.

The simulcast races of Irish Champion Stakes Day are scheduled as S1-1 to S1-8, and are due to start at 8:30 pm on 10 September. Details of the post times and betting pools are as follows:

“S1” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number respectively.
If “S1” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.
Odds and starter information for overseas races
The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs#, via Interactive Services**, and through the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for Irish Champion Stakes Day
Tickets for Irish Champion Stakes Day will be available for sale from noon on Friday, 9 September. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
