RACE 5 – FARSHAD

After the race, J Moreira expressed concern regarding the action of FARSHAD. FARSHAD was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FARSHAD was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer Y S Tsui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be swollen in its right front leg. As previously advised, FARSHAD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 8 – DIAMOND BRILLIANT

DIAMOND BRILLIANT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. DIAMOND BRILLIANT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer T P Yung this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, DIAMOND BRILLIANT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
