Miho-based. Posted 11-4-3 in three starts this year, all over 1200m. Does best drawn either wide or on far inside. Could fill out a trio.

Energy Rosso

Filly has posted 2-6-8 since moving to this level. Last two starts amid rain, with ground heavy in most recent. Has good results at Hanshin but prefers fast track and needs good trip if expected to prevail.

Hakusan Lilac

Returning after almost 7 months off. Moving up in class after Chukyo 1400m win, first win in 23 starts. Has finished in top three 9 times total. Predominately raced in 1700-1800m range, moved to 1400m recently. First time over 1200m. Work average. A high hurdle.

June Quest

Colt returning after 4 months. Poor results in two starts after moving to this level could be attributable to poor going and a poor trip. Wild card.

Kurino Equalizer

Has best 4th in 5 starts since moving to this class. Races handily but has been unable to hold ground. Could surprise with inside draw, better trip.

Lord Sage

Moved up to this class after win over Hanshin 1200m, but was agitated in gate next out and raced and finished in rear. Wide draw and slightly heavy track also factors. Needs a lot to come together right for favorable outcome.

M O Taisho

Has best fourth in last 6 starts, including two double-digits over Hanshin 1200m. Not promising.

Mikki Mind

7-year-old has failed to make better than fifth in last 10 starts. Was 6th over Hanshin 1200m last out. Good late speed but slow to fire. Likely not competitive here.

Nobo Versailles

Filly returned after 4 months for 4th over Chukyo 1200m in first time at this level. Improvement expected. First time at Hanshin, but two wins came at right-handed Nakayama.

9-year-old mare has failed to make top three in last 6 bids, but has been close. Hanshin 1200m is best trip. Not promising but not to be ruled out.

After string of failures, this 3-year-old colt appeared transformed with assertive run that brought win last out over Hanshin 1200m. Likely maturing. Expectations rising.

Colt with only 5 starts behind him rising to this class after win over Chukyo 1200m. Has good results over same trip at Hanshin and has missed top three only once. Good early speed. Promising.
