1400m – Turf

A T Sovereign

Finished inside top three in three from five starts this term. Stepping down to 1400m for the first time but a spot in the placings wouldn’t surprise.

Took second straight win over 1200m on his return from three and a half-month break in December. Missed on board for the first time last out when 10th in the listed race (1200m). Holds form with nice gallop.

Finished inside top four in three starts last term since returning from 13-month layoff. Will be first up off 10 months.

Showed ability at this class finishing 3rd last November, but has not shown enough in two starts so far this term.

Floral Dress

Won the 1-win class last October. Has not threatened to the winners in three starts this term.

Finished out of frame in three runs this term.

Double-digit finishes in recent three starts. Need big improvement.

Kurino Oja

Winless since October 2020 but showed upward curve, finishing on board in recent four starts and three of them over the course and distance.

Lupinus Lead

Won the 1-win class over the distance with the fastest clock time for the last 600m at Chukyo latest. Only 3 weeks between the races, improves form and looks the one to beat.

Meisho Beppin

Has not tasted any success since September 2020 but showed upward curve, finishing on board in the last four starts.

Meisho Ijigen

Has not shown enough at JRA. Won at NAR-Kasamatsu over the distance in May. Will have first run at 1400m on turf.

Winless since November 2020. Finished 1.5L 4th over the course and the distance last month.

Reve De La Prairie

Moved up to this class over 1600m at Tokyo in May but the lack of pace did not suit her and finished 4.8L 6th. First time travel to Osaka region which may not be query.

Won the 1-win class over dirt 1200m in March but no match for the winner at this class last out. Returned to the surface since last October.

T O Deesse

Winner over the distance last autumn. Has not shown enough in recent two starts. Will be first up off five-month.

Takeru Lusty

Well beaten in four starts so far this term. Hard to recommend.

Win Spirytus

Has not tasted any success since January 2020, but changed the tactics, taking lead and finished second last out (1400m). Softer ground will suit.
