Very good second to a multiple G1 winner on his 2022 return at Newmarket before flopping in a Longchamp G1. Up in trip, fine according to breeding.

Despite being too keen he posted a career-best effort (in a first-time hood) when second in a Chester Listed event last month.

Howth

Finished close up in a Leopardstown G2 last year but there have been plenty of modest efforts. Hard to fancy.

Kingmax

Only win came on the all-weather. Ran 8.5L fifth to the subsequent Derby winner at York but may need a longer trip.

Maksud

Finished fast to win at Windsor on his debut, and briefly looked like following up in Listed class at Goodwood. Will need to settle better this time.

Reach For The Moon

Ran well on only previous Ascot start, also winning a Sandown G3 and a good second on 2022 return. Up in trip looks a plus. Good chance.
