| 2 | Baaeed | Looks a real champion, unbeaten in seven starts and gained his third consecutive G1 victory when thrashing rivals over the straight 1600m at Newbury last month. He will need to underperform badly to lose this. |
| 3 | Chindit | Plenty of experience over a straight 1600m including easily winning at Doncaster in March. He then led a G1 field for much of the trip at Newbury, finishing 5L third to brilliant Baaeed. |
| 4 | Order Of Australia | Two big G1 performances over this trip in France last season – including a 1.3L second to Baaeed at Longchamp – shows what he is capable of. First start for 248 days. |
| 5 | Real World | His runaway victory over this straight 1600m beating 29 rivals at Royal Ascot last year is a big positive for this, whilst his second – albeit well beaten – to Baeed at Newbury last month suggests he’s in good shape. |
| 6 | Sir Busker | Beaten in his last 19 starts, his last win coming in a Royal Ascot handicap over this straight 1600m back in 2020. His liking for this scenario is a plus, but still very hard to see him winning. |
