Hasn’t tasted any success for over two years.  Failed to finish on the board lately and looks unlikely a winner here.

Copano Seiber

Transferred to NAR last September and returned to JRA circuits when 7th at the class (1200m) at Nakayama in March. Never finished inside top three in 7 starts at JRA.
 

Derma Invalides

Double-digit finishes in 4 recent runs.  Likely not a contender.

Ecoro Blast

Since transferred to JRA last December, his best in 3 starts was a neck 2nd over 1200m at Nakayama in January. 

Famous Dandy

Sowed a lot of progress and clocked the fastest time over the last 600m when 3rd in his second 1200m start last out.  If he can save for the late run, he has a chance.
 

Fly All Days

His best career start was 3rd over 1800m at this class in 2019.  Disappointing when finishing 12th last out over 1200m at Nakayama in January.  May not be competitive in this field.

Giuramento

Never finished inside top three since moving up to the class in 2020.  Disappointing run last out.  Might be a difficult task.

Iron Flower

Yet to win in 8 career starts at JRA.  No match for the winners in recent 3 starts.  A tough task.

King’s Valley

Hasn’t tasted any success since winning on debut in 2018.  Failed to justify favoritism two starts back (1400m) in March, and finished in the money last time (1200m) last month.

Meteor d’Avril

Won a newcomer (1800m) at Nakayama in December 2020 and finished in the money in her first run at the class (1600m) at Tokyo last January, but out of frame in the remaining 2 runs last term.  First appearance this term. 

Neo True

Failed to prove his favoritism but finished on board in last two starts.  It is encouraging that his runs over the course and distance were good placed efforts.  Surely will win soon.
 

Nil Admirari

Below par in recent three starts at the class.  Needs to return to his form. 

Plus Ultra

Mixed form.  Won a maiden on turf in 2020 but has not tasted any success since.  Showed good turn of foot and finished good 2nd last out. 

Sabbia Mago

Tokyo did not seem to bring his best, finishing out of frame in 4 runs over the course.  Good 4th in his seasonal bow but his latest start was not encouraging.
 

Taiki The Moment

Ran his best race with good 2nd in December since retransferred to JRA last September, but failed to impress last out.

Tosen Nick

Showed consistency finishing inside top three in two starts this term.  No surprise if he puts in another good show here.
