RACE 2 – SKY SHOW
After the race, SKY SHOW was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SKY SHOW was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SKY SHOW will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 3 – GOLDEN BOLT
GOLDEN BOLT, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. GOLDEN BOLT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, GOLDEN BOLT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 8 – AWE
The Veterinary Surgeon reported that AWE was lame in its right front leg (right front fetlock injury) on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, AWE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
