1200m – Turf

1

Hellomydarlin

She has run well in a G2 and G3 – in France – on her last two starts.

2

Flaming Rib

Best two runs have been his last two starts, a close third at Ascot and finishing fast to win at Thirsk. Up 3lb for that which is not too severe.

3

Bosh

Proven here by winning a maiden. His smart form has continued including his second of 22 in a valuable event at Naas this month.

4

Jadhlaan

Two of his five starts have been here including a very stylish novice win over 1000m. Also a good second over this trip at Goodwood last time on his handicap debut.

5

Aleezdancer

Twice a winner of novices’ events in May but two more ambitious targets on his last two starts have not payed off, though stumbling at the start didn’t help at Naas last time.

6

Mercurial

A red hot favourite to win a novices’ all-weather event over 1000m last time but always struggling to go quick enough. Up to a more suitable trip and has also been gelded.

7

Roman Dragon

His last four starts have been round Chester’s bends, winning twice there – both at this trip – and on both fast and slow ground.

8

Instinctive Move

Quickened after being outpaced at Bath, an impressive winning debut. Then disappointed when fancied to win a Listed event at Sandown but he remains interesting.

9

Papa Cocktail

Shot through a gap to beat two previous winners in a novices’ event at Haydock but ran poorly in a Newmarket G2 subsequently. Into handicap company and down to 1200m.

10

Lady Lade

Deserves this tougher challenge after wins in maiden and novice company. She moves up to 1200m and seems on a fair enough mark for this handicap debut.

11

Frankella

Showed vast improvement on her third start when – in and out of the lead – she won a Newmarket maiden. Looked to struggle on soft ground at Goodwood last time.

12

Wonderful World

Responded to strong jockey pressure to surge clear over this trip at Brighton on his latest start. On that evidence he is improving.

13

I’m A Gambler

Third on his handicap debut at Chester, a race whose form worked out well. And on his latest start this colt quite easily won a fast-ground Hamilton handicap over this trip.

14

Sisters In The Sky

Good shows on all three starts showing gradual improvement despite different ground conditions. Now moving into handicap company after his win over this trip at Goodwood.

15

Pockett Rockett

Despite edging left in the closing stages he managed to gain his first career win – on his third start – in a Hamilton maiden over this trip last month.

16

Guest List

From a stable that have plenty of fast youngsters, and this filly came from a difficult position to sweep past rivals for a Chester win, only just beaten last time.

17

Showtime Mahomes

Ultimately a comfortable winner of a maiden in June, but the form of that race has subsequently looked weak. This rise to 1200m will need to bring improvement.

18

Aristobulus

Makes a quick reappearance after proving much too good for seven rivals over this trip at Nottingham 8 days ago, penalised 6lb for that tidy handicap win.

19

Final Account

Would have chances if repeating his debut run when second in a decent maiden, not doing so well in two later races. The stable have a good record in this.

20

Dark Tulip

Probably best on a fast surface judging by her 1007m victory at Nottingham last month. The stable have won this race before.

21

Ye Gud Thing

Quite a busy youngster so far and this will be her eighth start. Despite not enjoying a good trip, she did well on her first start for this stable when a close second at Newbury.

22

Jastar

Has shown promise on his last two starts and it would not be a big surprise if he makes an impact up in trip and into handicap company here.
