Simulcast and betting arrangements for Prix de Diane Win and Place bets will be outbound commingled into France PMU pools

18/06/2021 19:50

HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast Prix de Diane from Chantilly Racecourse, France on Sunday, 20 June. Bets will be accepted* for this overseas race. Win and Place bets of the Prix de Diane will be outbound commingled with the host pools operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) in France△.

For Prix de Diane, Win and Place bets will be outbound commingled with the respective pools operated by Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) of France, in accordance with the modified horse race betting rules of PMU. Quinella, Quinella Place and other exotic bet pools will still be operated under Hong Kong separate pools. If the bets on outbound commingling pools cannot be included in the PMU pools, the dividends will then be calculated based on the Hong Kong pool only and in accordance with PMU’s calculation formula.

Betting on outbound commingled pools is similar to the way of betting on Hong Kong pools. The odds are calculated according to PMU’s method, that is, the investment is deducted prior to the division of the dividend pool. The odds displayed will change to show the odds of the PMU pools when the Hong Kong investment of the current race has been outbound commingled with PMU, and after the dividends of the preceding race have been confirmed.  The Place odds are the minimum value odds in the range.  In other words, the final Place odds could either be the same or higher than the value indicated. For more information on outbound commingling, customers can visit the Club’s website at www.hkjcracing.com.

The ticket sales for Prix de Diane will be available from 12:00 nn on Saturday, 19 June. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
