| 1 | Exceed Natural | Handy galloper who has not won for 482 days but is dropping from a SIN G1 to a Class 3 race. However, he has been struggling to find his best form and a win would surprise. |
| 2 | Eye Guy | Another former quality sprinter who at his best would give this a mighty shake. He has not won for 615 days and is coming off the back of a 12th place effort in a SIN G1 race. Will find this much easier and is proven over 1400m. Do not dismiss. |
| 3 | Pax Animi | Showed great early potential with three Singapore wins over 1200m and 1400m. Failed to run the longer journey of the SIN G1 Singapore Derby (1800m) and has been freshened up for this 1400m event. At his best, he would go close to winning. |
| 4 | Lim’s Craft | Quality galloper who has been plagued by injuries. Resumed with an average ninth to Rocket Star but will strip fitter and will find the extra distance suitable. Watch for market moves. |
| 5 | Quadcopter | Winner at Class 4 level two starts ago and then failed in the SIN G1 Singapore Derby (1800m) when finishing 14th. Has ability and can run well at this easier level. |
| 6 | Lim’s Mighty | Handy galloper who is returning from injury and has not raced for 246 days. Was not tested in a recent trial and the market will be the best guide to his chances. |
| 7 | Wecando | On-speed runner who is always capable of bouncing to the lead, dictating the pace and stealing the race. Loves the 1400m trip and rates a knockout chance. |
| 8 | Wassergeist | Was easy in the betting last start but settled back and found the line strongly. Should be almost ready to fire at his fourth run back from a break. |
| 9 | Ironside | Consistent type who lacks the class but has plenty of guts. He will find this easier than last start. |
| 10 | Mr Hooper | Honest sprinter who is better suited over 1200m. This looks a big test for him at 1400m. |
| 11 | Lim’s Zoom | Resumed with a fast finishing fifth place to Magic Wand over 1200m on the Polyrtrack last start. Switches to the turf and rises to 1400m and he could be a long-shot chance. |
| 12 | Easy Does It | Handy type on the comeback trail from injury who is third up from a spell. Getting fitter all the time and will relish the rise to 1400m. Do not underestimate. |
| 13 | Legend Of The Sun | Yet to win in five Singapore starts and was well beaten over 1200m last start. The 1400m looks too far for him. |
| 14 | Charger | Ran a slashing second to Rocket Star over 1200m 27 days ago and that’s the best form line for the race. However, he has never won over 1400m in four attempts. |

| 15 | The August | Produced a scintillating burst of speed to win last start over 1200m. Rises to 1400m where he has failed to win in one attempt previously, so proceed with caution. |
| 16 | Lim’s Samurai | Dropping back from a SIN G1 race when he failed to measure up. Will find this easier and will appreciate the drop back to 1400m where he is already a two-time winner. |
