RACE 7 – FUN LEGEND

FUN LEGEND, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  FUN LEGEND was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer R Gibson this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  As previously advised, FUN LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 9 – VALIANT DREAM

VALIANT DREAM, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  VALIANT DREAM was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K W Lui this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg.  As previously advised, VALIANT DREAM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
