RACE 4 – URBAN DANCER

URBAN DANCER, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  URBAN DANCER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D A Hayes this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg.  Before being allowed to race again, URBAN DANCER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 7 – METRO WARRIOR

METRO WARRIOR, which was reported by Jockey Z Purton to be making an abnormal breathing noise during the race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  METRO WARRIOR was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D A Hayes this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front and right hind legs.  Before being allowed to race again, METRO WARRIOR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – WALDORF

WALDORF, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings.  WALDORF was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning.  He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in both front legs.  Before being allowed to race again, WALDORF will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
